STEM in Defense

For high school students who have completed 9th grade during 2024/25 school year.
Students learn about the role STEM plays in the defense of the infrastructure of our communities and indeed our nation from cyber threats and inferior data science capabilities.

July 7-11, 2025
STEM in Public Utilities

For high school students who have completed 9th grade during 2024/25 school year.
Students will learn about the engineering and safety measures involved with power generation and transmission.

July 14-18, 2025
STEM in Law Enforcement & Public Safety

For students who completed 9th grade during 2024/25 school year.
Students will learn about the role STEM plays through the lens of law enforcement, fire protection, and emergency medical services in our communities. Experiences will include use of technology such as drones, cyber-security, and other resources.

July 21-25, 2025
STEM in Advanced Manufacturing

For students who completed 9th grade during 2024/25 school year.
Students will learn about the vital skills like coding, precision machining, and advanced technology related to manufacturing.

STEM Solutions

For students who completed 9th grade during 2024/25 school year.
Students will learn how engineers apply their skills in a variety of fields, including healthcare, technology, and the environment.

Patterns, Puzzles, & Practice (P3)

For students who completed 5th or 6th grade during 2024/25 school year.
Are you someone who enjoys spotting visual patterns around you? Do you have a talent for solving puzzles and finding solutions? If so, you'll have fun building games, puzzles, and problems while exploring the joy of learning. Remember, on the academy's last day, the best three-team presentations that use information from the patterns, puzzles, and problems sessions will be recognized with prizes!

STEM FUNdamentals

For students who completed 7th or 8th grade during 2024/25 school year.
Find out how STEM technologies can be used in landscape architecture and city planning to design parks and public spaces that naturally reduce heat islands, conserve water and provide citizens with beautiful, useful public spaces. Acquire skills working on a design challenge with a team and win prize money for your waterwise park design ideas!
